Nathan L. Guerette, M.D.

Dr. Guerette is the former Director of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at Pennsylvania Hospital and Assistant Professor for the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Guerette also served as Associate Program Director of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at Drexel / Hahnemann University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He received his medical degree from the State University of New York before completing a dual residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Family Medicine. Dr. Guerette subsequently continued his training at the Cleveland Clinic, completing a three-year fellowship in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery. He is the first formally trained Urogynecologist in Central Virginia and has special expertise in da Vinci Robotic reconstruction and advanced vaginal pelvic reconstruction. Dr. Guerette has published and presented both nationally and internationally on some 60 topics related to Urogynecology and contributed significant original research in his field.

Dr. Guerette's main office is located on the Johnston Willis campus. He resides in Richmond with his wife, a Sports Medicine Physician who also practices in the area, and their three children.

Mary Anne Snavely is Director of the Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Division for The Female Pelvic Medicine Institute of Virginia. She has over 18 years of experience in wellness and fitness and formerly served as Director of Personal Training for 12 years at the ACAC Wellness and Fitness Center, the only medically licensed fitness facility in the region. Her easy to follow homework plans and unique use of postural habits to regain muscle control and long term muscle memory, and build muscle strength in the back, core, and pelvis creates successful results for numerous pelvic floor dysfunctions.

Mary Anne has available the most advanced diagnostic and treatment options including biofeedback and electrical stimulation.
